About Me I wasn't born on Starbase 118, but I got here as soon as I could! My name is Jordan, and I founded our community in June of 1994 on AOL. For many years, I used the nom de plume Tristan Paine. My primary character name is Tristan Wolf – I played him as the captain of the USS Phoenix-B, our first ship, and later the first CO of StarBase 118 Ops. Out in the real world, I live in Alameda, which is an island city in the San Francisco Bay. I have a dog named Baxter, and a husband named Hank. I work for CREDO Mobile – formerly known as Working Assets (which provided long distance phone service) – a cellular phone company that donates to progressive nonprofits and advocacy groups, and engages in online activism.
