After Marine Captain Kagran transferred from the [[USS Aurora]] to the newly commissioned [[USS Avandar]], a Luna class vessel,  he was given a new team of marines to lead. Marine headquarters had suggested that they be split into two different types of units - Spec Ops and SAR, giving both the vessel's Captain and Marine Captain Kagran a wide choice of marines for most circumstances.

This came into play when the Avandar crashed onto the planet Eden, though a few marines died and others were injured, they were instrumental in setting up a safe zone around the crashed ship. [[Oumriel, Beornan|2nd LT Beornan Oumriel]] managed to set up the marine defence turrets with support from [[Rawlings, Griffon|Griffon Rawlings]], forming a secure perimeter. Kagran ordered [[Evans Dustin|Sgt Major Evans Dustin]] to take a group of marines up to a ridge over-looking the only known way into the valley the ship crashed into.

After some time had passed since the crash, the marine teams had helped set up other areas of the camp and worked closely with other officers. While on this mission Kagran got to know [[Eerie|Lt. Commander Eerie]] a lot better and they started to build a good bond with one another. During this mission Kagran was betrayed by one of his top marines - [[Oumriel, Beornan|2nd LT Beornan Oumriel]] Kagran did on multiple occasions try to hunt down the mutineer, leaving the camp for days at a time.

|Dale was born on Stardate 234511.23 in Edinburgh, New Scotland to two loving parents Raymond & Christine McGregor, both live on the outskirts of the city and worked in the local medical facility.

He had a great childhood and a very good education, once he'd decided to join the medical field his dad go him a small admin job working in the medical facilities after school. Once he passed his grads at school he headed off to Medical Academy in San Francisco and studied for 6 years in that time he did several interns at different medical facilities. Once he passed his MBBS, MD. He started work back at the medical facilities that his family worked at, while there he started to study an advanced course in other species Biology and got his M.B. . He worked at the medical facility till he was 33 and took a personal interest in dealing with non-humans.

Not long before his 34th birthday he applied to the Academy to advance his medical knowledge of other species.


When the crew woke up back on the ship Kagran was still full of rage over the betrayal but tried not to show it. Once the crew discovered what had happened to them peoples feelings towards one another changed. Kagran decided that he was not sure either way so he gave [Oumriel, Beornan|2nd LT Beornan Oumriel]] a second chance to earn back his trust.

|Dale joined starfleet academy on 237906.20 and did his starfleet officers training till he granulated in 238405.12 and got honors in Medical Biology. He was sent to work on the USS Aurora as a medical officer till it was put out of service in 238810.24. After that he was transferred back to earth to work at the Academy's main medical facility checking new cadets that planned on joining starfleet, some of his other duties were dealing with injured cadets and officers. On stardate 239009.16 he was transferred to the USS Avandar as the Chief's Assistant Medical Officer, he performed several medical duties including saving a fellow officer from a life threatening organism.
