The Heth-Gimel star I is a [[wp:Main sequence|class V main sequence star]], [[wp:Stellar classification#Class F|type F6 (yellowish, white spectrum)]] with a temerature of 6,000 to 7,500 Kelvin and with a stellar mass of about 1.7 to 1.9. (in relation to Sol) It has a solar radius of about 1.4, a luminosity of 6L and hydrogen lines falling in the medium range.
This star is approximately 789 million km from star II and 983 million km from star III. They form a slightly off sided triangle.
