INTREPID CLASS  On an Intrepid class ship, the operations station on the bridge – also known as just "Ops" – occupies a position on the raised platform behind the command area and to the port side, adjacent to the entrance to the briefing room. Under normal operating procedures, this station – along with the conn station – must always be staffed.
