Personal Info

Wildflower owes her unsual name to her family's historical adherence to the beliefs of Dr. Sevrin. The family name was changed to Peace-Lily shortly after taking up with Sevrin's followers as the original name seemed at odds with the family's new pacifist stance. The family name was originally Gunn.

Joining the Starfleet Marines has created some friction with Wildflower's family. Being pacifists, they cannot fathom why their daughter would choose what they see as a life of violence. They don't seem to entirely understand when she points out that the Federation needs people to defend their right to be pacifists. Wildflower is still a pacifist at heart, but she is also a realist and knows that sometimes it is necessary to defend your beliefs with more than just words and songs.
