Stuck to the biobed Vitor wasn’t much helpful as the others discussed a possible solution for what was afflicting the planet. New arrivals joined them, Ensign’s Kader and Savel, and after that Zie arrived in Sickbay. | |||

When he was cleared from Sickbay, and the mission was successful he went to see Zie, and perform his “Nougat of Command Offering Ceremony”. As they talked and he shared his concerns regarding the lack of a proper Tactical Chief she, to his surprise, gave him the job. | |||
Taking over his old position, after some work, one of his first duties was a meeting between him, Gabi and Talos. The three department heads went about the recent mission and a good working spirit between the three friends began to grow. | |||

Called up to the briefing Vitor was curious to learn what they were heading into next. They were all briefed on the location of what was going to be a war game, between them and the Berlin. They crew was going to be split and the ships were to conduct a mock battle in the Paulson Nebula. | |||
Genkos was going to be the OPFOR Captain. With him were Talos, Gabi, Hallia, Hiro and Ana. The rest would be manning the Artemis. Vitor thought it was a bit of an uneven split, since besides him, Zie, Yalu and Nan, they got mostly the new Ensigns. Savel, Kader and Vedic. After a little bickering and teasing when they were still all in the Ready Room, once the OPFOR departed they all began strategizing for the upcoming battle. | |||
Once the briefing was over they took their positions on the bridge and went in. The natural interference was paying its price and they all worked together to find the Berlin. After sending some probes they made contact. | |||
Vitor suggested they engaged, spreading out a torpedo volley. That plan backfired and although they caused some damage the Artemis took it as well. With shields faltering and some systems damaged Yalu left with Vedic and Savel to prevent a possible boarding. | |||
It appeared they landed on the lower hand, but Vitor suggested they hit the nail again, only this time they would take the thumb out of the way. Firing on the plasma pockets that surrounded them he got a hit that rocked the Nebula. As they cleared away and looked for the Berlin an explosion rocked the ship. Apparently the boarding team was intended to do real damage. They lost the artificial gravity and Vitor fought from floating away from his console. Kader got them back around the Nebula as they tried to control the damage. Zie however had a theory, wondering if they were effectively damaged. | |||
Trying to clear the drill settings Vitor and the others noticed they weren’t able to get the proper readings. If Zie was right a third party was now taking advantage of their mock battle. | |||
As they figured out that they were really attacked, Zie gathered them, and after instructing and splitting them up with several tasks, Vitor offered her three possible solutions. | |||
