My name is Aaron, and I have loved Star Trek as long as I can remember. I grew up watching the original run of The Next Generation; I can still remember how sad I was when the final episode aired! I also remember watching reruns of TOS on my mother's old 2.5 inch black-and-white television. Ah, memories.
To this day, however, my favorite series remains Deep Space Nine. I love how it became episodic; a bold move for television back in the day when stories were finished in one episode. I also like how it was "darker" in some areas than TOS or TNG; it stripped away the shine of the Federation, being far on the frontier, and later went darker and more emotional during the Dominion War.
In recent years I have become interested in fanfiction. I started by writing a few short stories regarding an old character from World of Warcraft, not to mention playing on a Roleplaying server. Around the same time, I also became interested in 3D rendering; making artwork of characters and/or ships and thinking of stories to go along with them. I was surprised to find SB118, as I had never even heard of PBEM-RPGs before! I was quickly interested, and applied to join. I have been having fun ever since.
