Personal History
Trake was born and raised on Nova Hibernia, a colony world near the MS system, Bolarus Sector, not far from the Romulan Neutral Zone. His mother taught Semantic Arts at the preparatory academy in the main city (Lechia) and his father was an officer in Starfleet. While the family occasionally joined Thrond on deployment, Trake spent most of his growing up years on Nova Hibernia, save for the occasional holiday abroad to enhance cultural exposure.
Trake was in his school's fencing club (sabre) and he has amassed a large collection of holographic novels (most based on "superhero comics").
Trake and his siblings are part El-Aurian on their mother's side. They can and do pass for full human in many cases, but still demonstrate similar characteristics common to full El-Aurians.
As an adult, Trake has been in a number of semi-long term relationships, although his recent temporal troubles have complicated that aspect of his life.
Faith and Philosophical Outlook
While not exactly a religion, Trake, like his family members, are adhere to a school of Transcendimensionalism which is a set of beliefs in higher dimensions that influence and inspire us.
Service History
Cadet Cruise: Cut short when his ship crashed on a planet.
First Posting: His first posting was as a science officer.
Dominion War: With many of his class, Avander received a quick commission and early promotion, as he lent his intellect to the war effort. He was on a Defiant class, then a Prometheus class, lending his intellect to experimental weapons systems. During this time his father died at the Battle of Betazed.
After War: While the war ended, there was still a heightened fear that the peace would be tenuous. Trake and his ship was sent to patrol the far reaches of the Federation.
Slow Time: Trake and his ship were pulled into a temporal vortex where they experienced extreme dilatation--mere months passed for them while on the outside, two decades went by.
Return: DTI took a special interested in Trake after his return and recruited him.
