I'm not sure about an awful lot of this, if I'm honest. It was McCoy (and therefore much later than T'Pol) that said "Well, there aren't any regulations against romance, Jim." We have also seen relationships between direct superiors and subordinates with a significant rank difference in canon: Captain Picard once engaged in a relationship with one of his science officers - he ended it not because of any regulation, but because of his own concerns about his ability to be her superior officer and significant other. I don't think it's wise to enter a slew of non-canon regulations into the group when we've never really seen any hint of them on screen in the era we're playing in. --Quinn /talk page 09:16, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
