Duplicate?

Just curious -- is this page necessary? It just duplicates the info already available at Starfleet Marine Ranks and Comparisons, just with the Embassy nav added. Couldn't we just adjust the existing page to be less starbase-specific (i.e. remove the SB118 nav) rather than having two pages with the same info? -- Whale 20:21, 14 January 2011 (UTC)

That would be fine with me. I created the new page because Starfleet Marine Ranks and Comparisons contained the SB118 nav. Also, on the page I created, I reversed the columns because it's a comparison of Marine ranks to Starfleet ranks, and it seemed more appropriate to have the Marine ranks on the left and the Starfleet ranks on the right. Do you have the authorization to delete the SB118 nav on Starfleet Marine Ranks and Comparisons, and what do you think about reversing the Marine and Starfleet columns on that page? -- Unum 01:57, 15 January 2011 (UTC)

Why don't we move one of these pages into the Starfleet Rank Index area, and then simply link to it from both SB118 and Thunder/Embassy? --Wolf /^{talk page} 02:06, 15 January 2011 (UTC)

The current Starfleet Rank Index: Marines looks like it will meet our needs. I suggest that we delete Starfleet Marine Ranks and Comparisons and Marine and Starfleet Ranks Comparisons. Then we can link SB118 and Thunder/Embassy to Starfleet Rank Index: Marines. -- Unum 02:31, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
