As a child T’Lea traveled extensively with her father on various archeology expeditions across the galaxy. T’Lea was a mischievous and rebellious child. She always went out of her way to try and evoke emotion from her father – this was partly due to her devilish Romulan side, and partly due to her father’s neglect.
Childhood Years - As a child T’Lea traveled extensively with her father, Zadok, to various archeology expeditions across the galaxy. She was exposed to many cultures, languages, and sometimes certain behaviors that young children should never witness.  For these reasons, Zadok had T’Lea’s tutors put an extra effort into making her study and practice the Vulcan teachings of Surak. T’Lea hated every second of her lessons and often went out of her way to provoke emotion from her ridged and strict teachers, as well as her guardian.  Early on, Zadok learned that there would be no taming T’Lea’s mischievous, rebellious Romulan side, but he would never stop trying.

Eventually, Zadok returned home to Vulcan and took a stationary job as a professor so that his daughter might have a stable home and strong moral foundation to grow on. T’Lea fought the Vulcan lifestyle for as long as she could, but soon embraced the discipline and self-control teachings of Surak. T’Lea finally settled down into Vulcan customs and began to suppress everything Romulan when she reached adolescence.

Young-Adult Years - As T’Lea reached maturity she found herself growing more independent, angry and more defiant of everything Vulcan.  During the exclusive excavation of an ancient civilization on N’Dallis Prime, located in the Bogon system, T’Lea left the unpredictable sandstorms of the desert dig-site and sought refuge in the inner city.  She quickly found her place as the Alpha Female in a notorious and deadly gang.   For five long years she carved out her reputation as the most lethal, heartless, and cunning ruler of the streets -- and along side her mate Dragus, Alpha Male of the gang, their empire was quick to threaten established enemy territories. Soon opposition fell at the duo’s bloodstained hands, but T’Lea’s lust for power, and the inherent legacy left behind by her mother, once again lead to the ultimate betrayalSeeking a higher social status, T’Lea conspired to have her mate, Dragus, murdered in exchange for a privileged political rank.  The sinister plan went awry.  She not only saw to the destruction of her mate, but successfully destroyed herself, as well.  ((see sims: The Beauty Is A Beast Part I:  http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/ufop-inactive-columbia/message/2807 ,
After joining Starfleet Academy to pursue a career in Federation Space Aviation, T’Lea suddenly found that the intense stress of academy life was responsible for resurrecting the powerful antagonistic Romulan side that she tried so hard to mute. T’Lea’s “dark side” finally got the better of her during a flight sim designed to test the cadets teamwork skills under extreme pressure. The insufferable bickering of her teammates pushed T’Lea over the edge and she purposely crashed the shuttlecraft, killing everyone onboard. Needless to say she failed the flight simulation and as a result her entire team, including T’Lea, had to retake the class the following year. For T’Lea the minor set back was worth it just to see the shocked looks on all her teammates faces when she slammed the shuttle simulation into the rear-end of a giant Cardassian Garaqulicar lizard. Once T’Lea cleared her head of the "incident", she re-evaluated her desires and goals at the academy and switched majors to the less stressful environment of Science.

The rest of T’Lea’s days at the academy were fairly uneventful and most incidents that T’Lea faced were personal, inner-conflicts of emotion. To this day she still struggles with her good Vulcan side and her unstable Romulan heritage.

Fleeing the city a broken and shattered mess, and with a Warrant for Vengeance on her head, T’Lea returned to her guardian Zadok, hoping that he would get her off the planet before the Sentinels and/or Bounty Hunters found her.   In her comatose state, Zadok fled the Bogon System with T’Lea and helped her the only way he knew how.  Arriving on a remote, illegal medical science facility, Zadok enlisted an expertise of an Ullian to rewrite T’Lea’s memories, making her docile, peaceful, and logical.  With a new Vulcan foundation in place, T’Lea’s violent memories were tamed, and she was completely unaware of the involuntary memory treatment she’d suffered.  As far T’Lea was concerned, she gave up her brutal past and found sanctuary in the teachings of Surak. Under these false pretences, T’Lea joined Starfleet and although she struggled with her suppressed Romulan side, she managed to work her way through training with logic and Vulcan integrity.

Present – Over time the memory reconstruction procedure has slowly started to deteriorate.  During the Ambrosia mission, Ethereal creatures finally broke down the memory barriers and revealed the truth about T’Lea’s past.  ((see sim: JP Pandora’s Box: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/ufop-inactive-columbia/message/3025 )) The shocking revelation thrust T’Lea’s Romulan side to the forefront once again, and forced her false Vulcan half into a deep meditative state.  T’Lea is now ruled by her manipulative Romulan heritage and the intense drive to find her estranged mother.

Eventually, her assignment changed from simple information gathering, to one of assassination. Her target was her bondmate, Keros. But the orders could not have come at a worse time, two days prior Raivus learned that she was with child. She now found herself torn between the unshakable bond of her fake family, and the unbreakable bond of the Tal Shair. After struggling with the increasingly difficult telepathic bond between husband and wife, and the new bond between mother and unborn child, it was clear that her real purpose would be revealed. She now had no choice but to follow orders. Raivus completed her assignment and returned to the Romulan Star Empire – but that is where her Tal Shiar loyalties would end. The bloody betrayal that she had done to her child’s father lead Raivus to give up her baby to Keros’s brother, Zadok, and then seek redemption and protection through Starfleet Black Ops. Since then, Raivus and all her secrets of the Tal Shiar have mysteriously disappeared. The Tal Shiar still seek her location.
  • Siblings: It has been rumored that T’Lea has a half-brother.
