Ssar'venaa

The Caitians colony on Miri IV of Ssar'venaa is on a large island covered in tropical jungles that is over 140 km wide by 98 km long. It is about 973 km south east from the Mirians capitol of Cru'ela on the largest continent of Atlantium. It is about 341 km south of the Deltans colony of Eros which is on an island north of them.

The 25,000 colonists are scattered over the entire island in small communities. They have taken advantage of the vast jungles and built their communities into the environment, taking advantage of the tall majestic trees to build muti-level homes that blend into there surroundings.

The only landing spots anywhere on the island are on the coasts. A few of the small communites have been built on or very near the coast. These all have small ports for water vessels and landing facilities for shuttles and other small atmospheric craft.

Government

The Caitians have a central government ruled by a council of elders from each tribal grouping. These meet and debate the needs of the colony as a whole. To an outsider these debates may sometimes seem to be a prelude to armed conflict but it rarely ever escaletes out of control.

Deputy Minister of Defense

Urgit Purrin is a 49 year old warrior who has retired from Starfleet. He was a marine. He is 6'1" and weights about 190 lbs. His tan fur is striped with black and dark brown markings. His tail seems to be constantly in motion while he can sit for what seems hours just staring. He watches and listens, considering all angles before he acts or speaks.
