Gau is a very friendly Dinosaur like creature, she is protective of her patients but is not easily provoked.
She is fast, loves to hunt on holodeck environment and in nature. She will never hunt a sentient species not even with permission.
Much like her species brethren, she is very polite, well mannered and intelligent.

She is a Beta Female in her species, meaning she has a decent choice of mates and can afford to be picky, while she has many children, it is not the jobof the female in this species to care for them, She is the only memmber of her Clutch ( Family) to be in Starfleet, she is a well respected, even more than normal, member of her Clutch.

When Gau was young she knew a career in only medicine would bore her greatly, for this reason, after Pakhwa Medical education, she joined the Pakhwa Defence navy. While never really rising through the ranks, she was wel respected for her quality and skill as a combat medic. After requesting discharge, she wondered her hoem world of a while, working a local clinic when she met a single other Pakhwa on a StarFleet vessel, this single meeting was enough to get her interested in enlisting.

her years at the academy were years of adaptation, learning, and being alone, most cadets either ignored or evaded her. While Gau got better at "blending in" with the Mammals that mostly occupy Starfleet, it was never easy.
Now she is in active service on the Duronis Embassy.
