The downtime after the ''Constitution'''s mission to the planet Lerayn provided the crew with some much needed rest, and saw Solaris awarded her first, and hopefully only, Purple Heart as well as the Gold Lifesaving Ribbon, for her attempt to disarm Akana, and her resultant wound. The senior staff enjoyed a night of pizza and bowling, which also saw Solaris grow more confused about her blossoming relationship with Sinda. Rest was short, and the ''Constitution'' was soon called upon to assist a group of Dokkaran's in resettling to a new planet, because their current one had become poisoned, and as a result, was also poisoning them. Enroute to the new planet, Dagorin VI, a probe launched by the ''Constitution'' picked up an unknown signal, which alerted the crew to possible involvement of the long thought dead Orion Syndicate, and upon searching the Dokkaran transports, a tracking device was discovered, leading to another mystery.

Upon arrive in orbit of the planet, Solaris accompanied an away team to the surface to scout the planet out for possible settlement by the Dokkarans. After a short look around, accompanying the Dokkaran scientist, Merina Lirane, the team regrouped to discuss their findings and decide a further course of action. The team split up again and Solaris' group, consisted of herself, Doctor Wyn Foster, Merina and Lt. Gina Es-Aleh went searching again. The group discovered a section of forest where the trees has been cut open, apparently being harvested of their sap, which had was discovered to be a powerful narcotic. The group was then ambushed by a pair from the Orion Syndicate and captured. They were taken to the Syndicate's underground bunker.
Upon waking up, Solaris found herself and part of her group contained in a cell, with Merina no where to be seen. An Orion and Ferengi soon arrived to question them, resulting in Gina being beaten and taken from their cell. An alarm was soon sounded and, using the resulting confusion, Solaris and Doctor Foster escaped from the cell, in an effort to find their team and escape the bunker. Along the way they reunited with Gina, and running into the Orion from before. Doctor Foster was hit by a blast form the Orion's disruptor, leaving Solaris in charge for the time being. She carried Foster and Gina lead them to a control room where they found the Ferengi and Merina.
With the bunker set to self destruct, time was running out for the group. Merina managed to shut down the dampening field keeping them from contacting their ship and Foster managed to knock out the Ferengi.
