Allasomorph: Difference between revisions

They have been very tight lipped about their past. Little is know about them altho certain scientists within the Federation believe that they may not be native to the Daleis system. What little they have revealed is that they have colonised the moons orbiting Daled IV. Two of these moons are named Salia and Anya.

Shortly after formal contact was established and they revealed that they were real, not just fictional beings they established a understanding with the Federation that would quarentine their system.  

Unlike normal quarentine conditions they are allowed to leave the system but under certain restrictions agreed to by all parties. No more than a dozen can ever be outside the system at any one time and no outsiders are allowed into the system.  

They have never revealed just what form of government they have. All contact with them has been offworld and has been with what they called a representative of the ruling body.

An Allasomorph is an anthropomorphic shapeshifting species, once thought to be only rumor, capable of altering its molecular structure into that of other species. The species was mentioned in the galactic zoological catalog.  

Unlike the [[Changeling|Founders]] the Allasomorph's tend to want to be left alone. While they have had dealings with other species they have not displayed any of the unsavoury characteristics of trying to infiltrate other species, forment war, cause civil unrest, etc.

They are completely self sufficent. They conduct no trade.

They have no military forces, however due to a understanding with the Federation their system is officially quarentined. As a result a small Federation station has been built just outside the system. This is considered a training facility and there are usually 3 or 4 Starfleet vessels operateing out of it at any one time. These are usually the smaller frigate or destroyer class's.
