History

They have been very tight lipped about their past. Little is know about them although certain scientists within the Federation believe that they may not be native to the Daleis system. What little they have revealed is that they have colonised the moons orbiting Daled IV. Two of these moons are named Salia and Anya.

Shortly after formal contact was established and they revealed that they were real, not just fictional beings they established a understanding with the Federation that would quarantine their system.

Unlike normal quarantine conditions they are allowed to leave the system but under certain restrictions agreed to by all parties. No more than a dozen can ever be outside the system at any one time and no outsiders are allowed into the system.

Government

They have never revealed just what form of government they have. All contact with them has been off world and has been with what they called a representative of the ruling body.

Description

An Allasomorph is an anthropomorphic shape shifting species, once thought to be only rumour, capable of altering its molecular structure into that of other species. The species was mentioned in the galactic zoological catalogue.

Physiology

They have never allowed themselves to be examined by any Federation personnel, however it is believed that their genetic makeup must be similar to that of the Founders due to their ability to portray near perfect replicas of other species. This is however only conjecture at this time.

Psychology

Unlike the Founders the Allasomorph's tend to want to be left alone. While they have had dealings with other species they have not displayed any of the unsavoury characteristics of trying to infiltrate other species, ferment war, cause civil unrest, etc.

Other than their desire to remain alone very little is known about their mental state.
