Danilo Pitik and [[Whale, David|Commander Whale]] were trapped on Deep Space 17 when it was overrun by the [[Vaadwaur]] in 238706.28 during the [[Second Battle of Eratis]]. When Whale was critically injured by Vaadwaur fire, Pitik dragged him back to the Tiger, effectively saving his life. Whale's recovery has been very slow, but Whale expressed a significant debt to the energetic young man. | |||
