As with all Galaxy class starships, the USS Constitution is designed to undertake a wide variety of different missions. A formidable opponent in a space battle, a ship capable of deep space exploration, as well as having labs and sensors to perform science studies, a stocked sickbay and large cargo bay to act as a hospital ship in an emergency evacuation and conference room for diplomatic functions. Home to 1000 people -not just StarFleet officers but also civilians and families with children of all ages - the Conmstitution also hosts a multitude of recreational facilities including gymnasiums, a theatre and concert hall, holodecks, a phaser range, an arboretum, educational facilities for children and Ten Forward bar. | |||
