'''Alyndra Syrex''' was born on Trill (Trillius Prime, Alpha Quadrant) in 2375 as the second child of Norala and Revok Syrex, arriving after her older brother Voren Syrex. Norala, her mother, dedicated herself to educating at the [https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/Symbiosis_Commission symbiosis commission], while Revok, her father, pursued a career in designing new computer systems for the same organisation.

One of the defining moments when she knew she wanted to join [[Starfleet]] was during a family “Cultural Excursion” in San Francisco when she was still a child.
