Genkos met with his alternate universe doppelganger for a drink of sapphire wine in his quarters. The next thing he knew, days had passed and he was tied to a chair, with his doppelganger passing himself off as Genkos prime. Thankfully Gila Sadar and Jovenan rescued the good doctor and Toto from captivity, and together with Addison MacKenzie and Vitor Silveira, they were able to retake the bridge and expel the intruders. ===Shore Leave - Betazed (240012.01 - 240001.25)===
Genkos began his shore leave with a heart to heart with Gila Sadar. before seeing Hiro Jones into his new support chair after the man had suffered heavy injuries to his legs. He then sat Shiva over the Shint version of Jaseb Chevalier for reasons he still doesn't understand. He spoke with Hallia about ways to possibly track the escaped doppelganger of himself. He and Jovenan took Toto to his father's old surgery where they were met by his childhood friend, Tevet Elain, who was now running the surgery. He then received a call from Kalianna as she had been visited by his doppelganger, although he had escaped once Kalianna's suspicions had been roused, before joining the rest of the crew at the Fifth Chalice for the awards ceremony.
===Mission - Alternate History (240001.25 - 240004.05)===
Genkos, Jovenan and GIla Sadar were snapped from the Fifth Chalice to a ruined version of Genkos' childhood home. They quickly discovered they were trapped in the past, as they met a young Tevet Elain as well as a message from the time-obsessed Continuum member, CloQ. They snuck through a window in time to Romulus, where they met Ensign Gnai and the four of them infilitrated a Romulan weapons turret so that they could shoot down Senator Vreenek's shuttle and restore the timeline. Unfortunately as they fired, they were drawn back to a changed present. Genkos appeared on the bridge of the Artemis, engaged in combat with now-Empress Tevet Elain's forces. Tevet, furious that Genkos had left her behind as a child, was out for blood. They hid from her in a nebula whilst they waited for Talos' team to confront CloQ.
