Lt. Jerry Reid heads the Challenger's Medship One, and Emergency Field program... The Emergency Field Unit works behind the lines of the ground troops, where triage and stabilzation happens before taken abroad the medship on an dustoff, (evac of casualtry) from an LZ (landing zone) perimeter to the medship (where meatball surgery is performed) this is surgery that helps to stablize the casualty until we can either beam them directly to sickbay, where further surgerical procedures are done by Dr. Danzia, and specialist surgeons. | |||
Lt. Jerry Reid falls under the command of Dr. Danzia, and often helps out in sickbay with rounds, surgery, and sick calls for Marines, and civilians twice a day at 0800, and 1300 hours. Dr. Reid also will pull weekend on call duty when Dr. Danzia needs help. | |||
