When Gila and Hiro served with eachother aboard the ''Artemis''-A, they filled the roles of the overzealous counselor and the extremely reluctant crewmember, who committed extraordinary efforts to avoid any and all counseling. Through the Lieutenant's persistence, he managed to get Gila to attend some sessions, and while Gila continued her avoidance attempts, she was slowly starting to warm up to the idea that - perhaps - he as a person wasn't necessarily someone to fear. This was when his transfer orders to the USS ''Ronin'' came through. Could they have become friends? Almost certainly. Because of Gila, they did not...
