Jaseb was born in a non-Federation colony in the Eltharia system. His family name is honored, recognized, and old at Eltharia, the name which could be dated to centuries past as a civic servants to the Father, Eltharia’s ruler. His father, Timothee, is the Thanator General, and his mother Ana, is the constitutional lawyer under a one true thanata. Born as a third child of his parents, he was free in his path as a pilgrim of Eltharia, the one who will leave. His father did not care much about him, almost ignored his existence, but his surname itself gave him enough opportunities to become anything he wanted. But he embraced Sanctum Transpoli, Elthari trans-humanistic religion, and their dream of knowleadge. He brought only honor to his name and the name of the family. Still, he was always that third. Always the one, who will leave.
Jaseb was born on the non-Federation Human diaspora colony on the border of Tholian and Makus Sector, as a third child to the family of public servats. He had a happy childhood, but as he grow up, he started to realize what means to be born as a third. His planet is bare, resourceless place, and a population of the colony is heavily controlled to curb the colony population growth. Jaseb was destined to become a pilgrim - the one who is expected to leave. When he finished his primary education, his future was already written. He, altogether with other "third", was taken out of his family, and educated (someone would say conditioned) by their transhumanistic church - Sanctum Transpoli - about the "life outside".
At the age of 17 he was expected to leave, and he left. He spent the next two years among the stars, while trying to find his meaning in life. There he firstly came across something he hadn't seen before. Misunderstanding of his religion, condemnation for his looks, slanders and insults whispered behind his back. Even though he was third, he was never bullied nor offended by others before. Firstly, he was terrified and lost, but he hardened to the outside world quickly enough. He survived and decided on a career that was the only one that made sense to him. He chose to apply at Federation Starfleet Academy.
At the age of 17 he was expected to leave Elthari, and he left. As Elthari is an accession nation to the Federation (for the past fifty years, but that’s another story), he chose to apply at Federation Starfleet Academy. There he firstly came across something he hadn't seen before. Misunderstanding of his religion, condemnation for his looks, slanders and insults whispered behind his back.
Even though he was third, he was never bullied nor offended by others. People on Elthari knew that much to not sneer at the son of Elthari nobility - if a nobility would be something existing officially on the planet.
Firstly, he was terrified and lost, but he hardened to the outside world quickly enough. He paid his debts; he sent his regards. Not less could be expected from an Intelligence major. Every prank he returned in double.
In 2400 he graduated Starfleet Academy with a major in Intelligence – with focus on data analysis and extraction - and a second major in Engineering.
