Jaseb was born in a non-Federation colony in the Eltharia system. His family name is honored, recognized, and old at Eltharia, the name which could be dated to centuries past as civic servants to the Father, Eltharia’s ruler. Born as a third child of his parents, he was free in his path as pilgrim of Eltharia, the one who will leave. His father did not take care much about him, almost ignored his existence, but his surname itself gave him enough opportunities to become anything he wanted. He learned to be thanata, he embraced Sanctum Transpoli, Elthari trans-humanistic religion. He brought only honor to his name and the name of the family. Still, he was always third. Always one who will leave.

In age of 17 he was expected to leave Elthari, and he left. As Elthari is an accession nation to the Federation (for past fifty years, but that’s another story), he chosen the apply at Federation Starfleet Academy. There he firstly came across something he hadn't seen before. Misunderstanding of his religion, condemnation for his looks, slanders and insults whispered behind his back.

Even he was third, he was never bullied nor offended by others. People on Elthari knew that much to not pick on the son of the Thanator. Son of judge, law enforcer, executioner.

In 2400 he graduated Starfleet Academy with major in Intelligence – with focus on data analysis and extraction - and minor in Engineering.
