The encounter with Vidhis wasn't exactly a success, but despite the provocations Vitor managed to pull it off from his best diplomatic skills. The next meeting however could be a challenge. With some work Vitor managed to find out that the point of discord between the three powers was an asteroid field rich in dilithium. The situation escalated and the Klingon, Romulan and Son’a, all claimed the asteroid field. | |||
During his “interview” the ship status changed to Yellow alert and Vitor left in a rush, as he ran for the bridge he shared with yalu his findings. He was on his way when the turbolift blocked between decks and he was stuck. | |||
Luckily he was eventually rescued by one of his department comrades, Ensign Nayavi, and soon Vitor joined her in the Tactical Planning, where the ship's shields system was also suffering a malfunction. Working on them, and communications as requested by Zie, they managed to get things working again and the negotiations went on their proper course. | |||
