|BLURB=Lee Birack leads The Storm Chasers; a group of Starfleet Cadet scientists intent on creating a more efficient way of detecting and mapping ion and other spatial storms in the hope of creating an early warning system which can be deployed across the quadrant. Lee is passionate to the point of obsession about his work and is a bit of a party-goer and risk taker in the field. He and Maz became friends at the Academy and have kept in touch since they both graduated.
