Groznin Smith: Difference between revisions

After his first mission with the USS Gorkon, Groznin was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade.

Groznins first mission was to the Planet Sikuna. A Romulan Colony world. He was apart of Commander [[Erin Reynolds]] away team, they went to what was called the verteron array. The point of the array was to perform multiple research taks. Other members of he away team included Lt. [[Tasha MacFarlane]] and Lt. [[Jocelyn Marshall]]. While searching the array for what they intended to go there for they discovered a room full of container these contained different types of liquids, they found out that they went into the ground and were slowly draining, the team then realised that they must be going somewhere. Of to the side past one of the tubes was a small hole in the ground big enough to fit down, checking the hole there was a bottom and the team decided to investigate.

Another Big thing happened during this shore leave Groznin was promoted from Ensign to Lieutenant JG, it was a big shock but happily accepted. his best friend from the academy [[Ferier Lanta]] was also promoted along with [[Genkos Sim]], a few of his other friends were promoted from their ranks to the one higher.  

In the Dream state Groznin was a member of the Maquis, A fighter to be precise. During the time he was in the dream he helped the other members of the crew find out who had beaten a captured member of starfleet up. Groznin was a part of 'Red' (Ayiana Sevo's) team and were tasked with discovering information out about how it happened. along the way strange things too place, including dancing isolinear chips, unicorns and a yellow brick road. Red's team discovered a man called Bondon who was the man who beat the starfleet officer (Quinn Reynolds) up. Also on his team was Samira Neathler (Newbie) & Ferier Lanta (Sticks) They all were members of the Skarbek Maquis cell. They took pride in it and weren't happy to find the man who had beaten their captive. They tried many things to persuade him too talk but he didn't, He eventually left just as Groznin was going to try to make him talk himself but alas Bondon left the dream state. They then were transported to a beach in which they realised the dream state was ending. The Newbie saw a ship which Groznin immediately When he jumped through he was transported to the Gorkon.  

During this party he was awarded the Lifesaving Ribbon for helping save the life of the [[Kian Symbiont]] and the Prisoner of War Ribbon for being held hostage by Lladre. He and Nova shared their first kiss at the party.  

During his time on the Njörðr, Groznin had a tour of the ship along with his fried [[Tasha MacFarlane]] & Commander [[Trellis Vondaryan]] & Assistant Chief of Security & Tactical [[Samira Neathler]], While in a Jefferies Tube, due to unknown reasons the ships gravity flipped, sending them too the ceiling of the Tube. they crawled their way through till main engineering where they thankfully managed to shut down the warp core before it overloaded. After these events they made their way to the battle bridge in which they got a message out to the entire ship using various items found around the bridge. The message they sent was quickly edited by Rear Admiral[[Quinn Reynolds]] which let the team know that there was other survivors amongst the ship, which up too that point had seemed unlikely. Shortly after the battle bridge The team was caught off guard by two aggressors who ultimately kidnapped the Gorkon's Assistant Chief of Security. It was at this point the team was discovered by a Bajoran women, who needed help finding her husband. Sadly when they found the man he was dead, much to his wife's disbelief. Shortly after this  the team while in a Jefferies tube, heard some noises, thinking it was the aggressors, after being handed a phaser from Tasha, Groznin took a premature shot, hitting a friendly instead of who he thought it was. It turned out to be Lieutenant Junior Grade [[Orson "Bear" Marshall]] & Ensign [[Gnaxac]]. Groznin felt terrible, and didn't know what to do. He kept apologizing. When leaving the Junction they were in, the large team split up into two smaller teams of; Tasha & Trellis, and Orson, Groznin & Gnaxac. The Bajoran women while still with them, left the group to head for the safety of Deck D, where they had been instructed to go in the Admirals message. Orson, told Groznin & Gnaxac they were going to find Samira, Groznin was told in a stern voice that he wasn't to touch a phaser at all. He agreed. They found Samira and successfully saved her, before getting to a control room in which they found a Vulcan, who was alive, but barely, Groznin was helping him using the medical training he had got from his extra courses at the academy, when the young Vulcan grabbed a hypospray and threw it into the air, which hit a console, which in turn caused the Gravity system to be flipped again. They all braced themselves, and shortly after making sure everyone alive was okay, they started to head back into the service shaft when they were beamed too the safety of the USS Yarhala.
