*'''OOC NOTES''':
**This would be a reasonable next mission, as it does not involve the Drake itself at all.The mission could take place while the Drake is in dry dock, undergoing repairs from the past two missions.
**As the IC timeline is very tight, with us having only 72 hours to prevent an attack, the pacing and OOC timeline should also be fairly tight. We would recommend allocating no more than eight weeks to this mission. The idea here is to move the plot quick enough to maintain the tension and immediacy of the threat, while ideally avoiding the lulls that tend to accompany longer missions.
**To contribute to the sense of urgency, all command staff sims should begin and end with a countdown clock showing house, minutes and second until the attack – i.e. the intro sim, where FedSec briefs us on the mission would start with 72:00:00 and perhaps end with 61:26:44; a sim closer to the end would start 04:15:57 and end at 03:49:03. The idea would be to advance the clock frequently to get across the feeling that we’re running out of time. What we don’t want is for sims to start at 55:39:12 and end at 55:37:31.
**Ideally, we would want to resolve the plot as close to 00:00:00 as possible to maximize dramatic tension.
**As we’re operating undercover, this mission should be only command staff characters and very select PNPCs for whom there exists a valid reason for their participation. For example, Krogg would be a valid addition, given his past experience with the Orion Syndicates, but Danny-Vex would obviously not be an appropriate character to bring along on an undercover operation.
