During the end of 2390, [[James|Lt. James]] began a set of reforms to the structure of the yard crew of Starbase 118. Previously, they where organised far more anarchically with people assigned to work jobs as and when, much like they would in a ships Engineering. James saw the opportunity to re-organise them into much more efficient units of 10, with 9 Enlisted Crewmen and 1 Officer. The Officer would act as a 'team leader' and provide a consistent point of contact with the ships Captain/CE. These are most effective with smaller civilian ships, where just one team can usually handle the situation. | |||
