The Scarlet Brotherhood are a Bajoran cult of Pah-wraith worshippers who have crossed paths with the USS Challenger throughout its service history. It is rumoured that the Bajoran who attacked Benjamin Sisko outside his father's restaurant in New Orleans shortly before his discovery of the Orb of the Emissary belonged to this cult.
The current goal of the Scarlet Brotherhood is to release the Pah-wraiths from the Fire Caves of Bajor by any means necessary.
