- Poses: Folds her hands in front of herself primly while she speaks, occasionally gesturing.
- Taste in Clothing: Light sundresses or her traditional Edo clothing (A white, twisted toga of sorts.)
- Shoes: High heeled boots on duty, barefoot in quarters or on shore leave if she can. Otherwise sandals will do.
- Voice: Soft, sweet and feathery, perfect for close quarters and waking patients. But she has the full ability to make her tone quite commanding when the need arises.

Manners
- Habits: A tendency to round off statements with 'Yes?' when she wants you to agree with her, or 'No?' When she is looking for another answer for you to give. She also has a habit of holding both of your hands while she speaks with you, but all Edo do that.
- Mannerisms: She asks a lot of questions and is quite talented at getting people to talk about themself. She has a tendency to gather information, but not give much back. She has a quirky sense of smugness that comes with people liking to talk with her about their problems and personal life.
- Hobbies and Pastimes: Reading romantic novellas, Swimming, Gardening, Shopping, Cooking, and Hiking.
- Likes: Good gossip, Good friends, and Good food.
- Dislikes: Spiders, Snakes, Lizards, and Birds.
- Ambitions and Goals: To train with Tac+Sec and become a more experienced and useful combat medic.
- Achievements in Life: Leaving Rubicun III and joining Starfleet.
- Disappointments in Life: The fact she can no longer see her parents, brothers, and sisters on the regular, all of whom she is extremely close with.
- Temperament: Variable. Normally she is very mild in her irritation when it comes up, but there will be situations where her temper can get the better of her. Though on average she is extremely polite and friendly.
- Mental problems: She occasionally still struggles with bouts of very mild depression. She is the only Edo she knows of in Starfleet, it's a bit lonely. She misses the familiarity of home and her culture.

- Food: She is open to trying anything, but she does hold a great affinity for anything deep-fried or covered in savory sauce. Or both!
- Sports: She is an avid volleyball player, having discovered the sport in the Academy. She also loves to swim with a good bit of regularity.

Personality
Saralai is generally soft-natured and polite to a fault, having never known a stranger in her life despite her isolated upbringing. She is warm-hearted and suitably matched for nursing considering her gentle bedside manner. While she is strict in her professionalism, posture ever rigidly straight, and her work areas meticulously cleaned, she always makes time for her patients and co-workers alike, allowing them space to vent and talk. In that way, she made for a good sounding board for those who took her up on the opportunity. But that is not to say that she did not have her negative attributes. Just as easily as she could have been painted a patron saint for the wounded and dying, she is also a horribly stubborn woman. A true Taurus, she is hard-sold to be swayed from what she deemed as truth, and ever capricious atop that. Once given a proper fact that disproved what she might have thought was true, she just as quickly changed her mind and held hard-strung to her new hill to die on.
History
Raised in the islands of the Rubicun III homeworld, situated off the mainlands’ tropical seas, she had never had much time to herself, being the 9th born in an enormous, happy family of a total of 14. She had seemingly always had a nurses’ spirit, playing nursemaid to her siblings' bites and bruises common in tireless, rambunctious children playing on the rocky, sandy seaside of one of the largest lagoons on the islands.
Her bedside manner was always commented on by family and strangers alike, saying that she was practically meant for either a spa attendant or a hospital worker..and given the choice, she took to the hospital. As she grew older and became more acquainted with more species than her immediate family, she began to explore further into xenobiology which spiraled off into alien anatomy and medicine.
She began making friends in chat groups across space- learning their healing techniques, learning their tending ways and had discovered a natural talent for anticipating the needs of such patients. She'd finally found her calling..Not that anyone had expected any different from Finry and Anaise's oddest child. She was dutifully assisted with donations from her friends, family and townspeople to send her to Earth’s San Francisco, and then to Starfleet at age 18. She writes letters to her parents and siblings often.
