Backstory/Timeline
Rykel was born on the USS Venture in 2369. For the first few years he lived aboard the ship, but at the onset of the Dominion War his father took a position on Earth and took Rykel with him. Rykel remained on Earth during the war. When the war was over, he and his father rejoined his mother on the USS Venture, a ship she would later go on to command. The USS Venture was where Rykel called home until entering Starfleet Academy.
Rykel is a social chameleon and can adapt to the type of person he is hanging out with. It was a skill he found useful growing up as a Betazoid around so many other species. He is very calculated and often thinks outside of the box. He gets along least with people who are over confident, or smug. Rykel always tries to remain humble.
