Personal History
Richard was raised running around the Appalachian Mountains. Swimming, hiking, and climbing took up most of his childhood. He is an avid archer, and loves to tinker with homemade traps. His family owns and runs a mechanical shop, where Richard learned to love repairing and building just about everything. From old cars, to the modern day warp core he like pulling it appart and putting it back together. Graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in mechanical engineering, and joined Starfleet. Struggled through classes, not due to partying like his peers, but from the course load. Managed to scrap by with passable grades and his first assignment was on the USS Discovery C.
After surviving a horrifying experience on Iotia II, Richard formed a strong bond with fellow Ensign. The two friends weathered several other adventures before being promoted to LT Junior Grade together.
