Koloth spent the next 35 years pursuing the sciences and working as a civilian scientist throughout the [[Alpha Quadrant]] until eventually finding himself in a Cadets uniform swearing oaths of allegiance to the [http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/United_Federation_of_Planets Federation].
