Backstory/Timeline
Chris grew up in a family of pilots. His mother, Laura, used to fly for a transportation company. His father, Steven, was a Helmsman for starfleet, but during an incident, (labeled an accident by a Starfleet SI unit) he was nearly electrocuted by damaged console wiring. He was declared unfit for duty, due to his burned leg, and given an honorable discharge from the fleet. Following in his father's footsteps, Chris learned to fly small speeders by the age of 10. By the age of 15, he was piloting transports. He easily passed the flying courses at the academy, but nearly failed Math.
