| Born on Cait, Parvana and her parents resided near a sizeable river deep in one of the densest forests of her planet. Her parents were quite advanced in age when she was conceived, having attempted to have children naturally for a number of years without success. Although they could have taken measures to change they simply let it be, thinking if it was to happen,then it would happen. Thus, they were well into their ‘middle aged’ years when he mother found herself pregnant - and even more surprising, with only one cub.
When she was born, Parvana gave her parents and their doctors somewhat of a shock. Unlike her parents who were both a light tawny hue, she came out much paler, a colour not usual to her kind. While not white, the silver was inexplicably odd, and even more so was the colour of her eyes - a distinctly brilliant blue. After much testing, it was declared that her colouring was due to a rare and unlikely genetic mutation, but did not affect her health, so she was released to go home with her parents.
Growing up, Parvana was the delight of her parents and they doted upon her. When she grew to be of school age, however, she found herself thrust into a miniature society that looked upon her as strange. Save for a few who had been friends before they were old enough to notice differences, other children tended to ignore her, avoid her, or, in a few cases, be outright rude. She was different, and they let her know it.
As she grew older, however, that seemed to change. During her teen years, those who had avoided her started noticing her, and in a more positive light. She was unusual, pleasantly so. Exotic. Attractive. Quite a reversal from her earlier experiences, Parvana basked in the attention she received. As she progressed in her schooling, however, she began to take a more serious look at what she wished to do with her life. With her interest in Science being cultivated by her parents and her teachers, she was encouraged to apply to Starfleet Academy. She did so, was accepted, and thus embarked on the first step of her career.
Graduating with honours, Parvana found herself placed on the USS Payne, a small science vessel. There, she spent two years and was promoted to Lieutenant shortly before Starfleet transferred her to Starbase 118 Ops. After two and a half years, Parvana found herself transferred to the fascinating Ring 42 and Denali Station.
