The Ditrikians are a race of proto-Bolians on a planet emerging from a near-apocalyptic world war. They have sallow, blue skin and dark hair, with rigid plates on their foreheads and tongues. Standard civilian dress includes robes with cowls; military dress typically in purple uniforms. Ditrik Prime(green Class M planet, 75% water, two moons) had at last observation no unified world government, with numerous armed factions fighting amongst themselves for control of what is left of their destroyed world. Although the Ditrikians are only a Class E civilization on the Richter Scale, First Contact was made on Stardate 237911.09 by Rear Admiral Hollis Calley of the USS Triumphant. In light of First Contact, humanitarian aid, climate change, and military incursions by the Herpitites, and widespread public support for Herpitite intervention on Ditrik Prime, Rear Admiral Hollis made contact with the Ditrikians in an effort to prompt a rejection of the Herpitite presence on their part. At last observation by USS Triumphant, the Ditrikians had begun a military response to Herpitite fighter ships over Ditrik Prime. Present status of the conflict, or of the Ditrikians, is unkown.
