Though Sigma Iota has seen further change since then, Vann honored his mother's sense of traditionalism by working for the mob, and speaking the slang-ridden vocabulary of New Chicago.
After running a successful New Chicago bar where played a significant role in his favorite boss's operations, Vann moved on to a new career in space. His intentions toward Atlantis' Starfleet crew seem to be honorable, but can anyone rally trust a man so deeply connected to the mob for so many years?
