History

Born on Earth, Hail was named after the weather. Her middle name, Storami, is another word for Storm.

At 23 years old, Hail joined StarFleet. She was posted onboard the USS Tarelgan as an Operations officer. Several years on, she became Captain, and was able to watch several families grow, especially that of the Jae family. Angel Jae, her Helm officer's niece, showed potential to be an officer, and Hail was the one to suggest StarFleet Academy to her.

Hail was known to hand-pick her Senior Staff fresh from the Academy. The Tarelgan Senior Staff was also known for quick thinking. The last officer she picked from the Academy, Ensign Ethan Kemp who was her Counsellor aboard the Tarelgan, had shown extreme potential to become the Chief Medical Officer. Hail was also going to retire in that same week.

Ensign Kemp was just about to get a promotion before the ship went into Red Alert and battle mode. After the Senior Staff realized that they wouldn't survive, they evacuated the ship. Only minor injuries were sustained.
