Eluana Gylar was an art dealer aboard Tutatuband Station. She was Tarrik Tarkin's mother. She was cunning and a powerful telepath/empath.

	Chronological History

• 2110 Eluana Gylar is born to an impoverished family on Rodul
• 2126 Eluana rises to fame on Rodul as a prominent sculptor and artist, doing excellent work with her hands. Her work with basotile is considered lacking and rudimentary by contrast. She becomes independently wealthy from art communities reluctant to accept change that prefer her methods over the new basotile movement
• 2132 Eluana's investment into various family members business ventures and education brings her family up into a financially comfortable position
• 2135 Eluana is abducted from Rodul by an unscrupulous merchant who lacked nuanced understanding of the details of basotile art creation. She is held as a slave with the intention of being used for the manufacture of new basotile art pieces. The cause and nature of her disappearance is completely unknown on Rodul
• 2146 Search efforts for Eluana draw to a close outside of her immediate family, many people who she funded the business and education of forget her
• 2152 The value of Eluana’s basotile art is found to be lacking and her captor labels her a failed project. She is sold for the first of many times to a Ferengi owner on Stameris. She will go on to be bought and purchased many times on the Ferengi slave markets on Stameris until 2235
• 2231 Eluana meets a Vulcan on Stameris sympathetic to her plight. She helps Eluana to develop her psychic abilities further and the value of her basotile work increases significantly as a result
• 2235 Eluana is sold to a Ferengi owner on Stameris who begins purchasing basotile and exploiting her newly gained artistic ability. She learns chess from her Vulcan friend and they play regularly
• 2239 - After honing her abilities to be able to probe even Ferengi minds with her Vulcan friend and having memorized the nuances of Ferengi trading customs Eluana begins making art made from basotile she arranged to have stolen from her owner, aiding the thieves in exchange for a portion of the raw material for her to turn into art and sell in secret
• 2242 - Eluana takes on a male identity she invents by bribing someone to create a fake identification card and utilizing a disguise she had made custom for herself. She hires a personal secretary to prevent her owner from meeting her "buyer" and purchases herself. Having spent more of her life around Ferengi than not she realizes no longer considers Rodul home in the middle of planning her return home after learning that they stopped searching for her long ago
• 2243 - Eluana moves to Tutatuband Station in the Khosla system for a fresh start, accompanying her Vulcan friend. She exploits the incoming trade between her planet and the Ferengi, marketing herself, using her male disguise, as a merchant specializing in Rodulan goods that understands Ferengi culture, financed with the now highly valuable basotile art she's learned to produce
• 2263 - Eluana's Vulcan friend passes from old age
• 2290 - Disguised as male Eluana achieves a high social status and no small amount of wealth. She begins doing business with Grax Tarkin acting as a middleman for a large amount of weaponry that's sold to Rodulan merchants
• 2328 - Grax Tarkin finds Eluana is female when the person who sold her the fake ID sells him "important information about one of his business partners", but as she is a valuable trading partner revealing her would ultimately cost him substantial latinum. He lies about her identity to station Security Officers at great risk to himself–if he's found lying he will pay substantial fines, and she was under investigation so his lie may have been found out. Eluana ends the investigation before it can finish with a bribe to a higher ranking Security Officer. She and Grax arrange for the person who sold her the ID to have a fatal accident when they find him trying to sell information about Grax
• 2329 - Eluana teaches Grax chess and he begins playing regularly with her
• 2330 - Prax Tarkin is born to Grax Tarkin on Tutatuband Station. Eluana helps raise him, babysitting and visiting often
• 2334 - Grax Tarkin passes to Dorek Syndrome. Eluana steps in to help raise Prax with financial support and a great amount of her time, becoming a close family friend. The Tarkin family knows she isn't male but keeps her secret
• 2337 - Eluana teaches Prax to play chess
• 2356 - The vast majority of the Gylar family has been located in mass graves post occupation and the rest have been declared missing for years leaving only Eluana behind
• 2359 - Eluana meets Thorus who discovers her true gender with ESP. He begins to frequent Tutatuband Station and extending his stays there for longer and longer periods to spend time with her
• 2356 - Thorus gifts Eluana a serum which promises increases her lifespan by 100 years
• 2373 - Thorus convinces Eluana to return to Rodul with the intention to raise a child there
• 2374 - The Bill of Opportunity is ratified and Eluana reveals her true identity. She tries to consolidate her assets under her real identity but much of her belongings are seized by a rival merchant since they are technically owned by someone who does not legally exist. Just when it seemed all was lost she managed to keep the majority of her earnings by employing a complicated plot using falsified documents and a legal loophole created by the newly ratified bill
• 2375 - Tarrik Nol'Gylar is born to Eluana Gylar and Thorus Noldo on Tutatuband Station. They leave sooner than they planned to Rodul on a private shuttle in light of this surprise shortly after his birth. They face mechanical difficulties with the life support system and are forced to sacrifice themselves for Tarrik, unable to make the journey to Rodul with only enough life support to send the infant back alone. He's placed in the care of the Tarkin family and Eluana and Thorus' bodies are never recovered, lost to the abyss
