The USS Euphrates was a Starfleet vessel assigned to deliver medical supplies to New Atlantis, a planet in Sector 332. The vessel was lost with all hands on 16th March 2379.
The cargo hauler Northwind discovered a vessel, believed to be the Euphrates, adrift near the Verona Nebula in Sector 301, a sector with a history including T'lithion attacks. The discovery led to the Federation Council dispatching the USS Independence-A to investigate in September 2384.
