Backstory
Jomm began life on the Bolian shipping lanes at an early age thanks to his co-father Gias, who ran several cargo runs throughout the sector. The young Bolian soon worked his way up the command ladder to even oversee limited trips within the Bolian system. Still, Jomm wanted more, and though he had started a family with his wife and co-husband, he knew that if he didn't try for Starfleet now, then he probably never was going to try again. His extensive experience in the private sector proved valuable for his admissions attempt and during his time in the Academy, although the months away from family were hard on both him and his children. Still, they and his spouses are still looking forward to his graduation date, when Jomm will become the first in his family to join the ranks of Starfleet as an officer.
