So, is the AOTM template going to stay as such on the main page? Or are we going to change it to the appropriate date form, such as AOTM/0408? Right now the AOTM template redirects to AOTM/0408, but changes to the -0408 version don't change on the main page, because redirects aren't reciprocal. Should we change the main page template to the -0408 version (or whatever month it's going to happen to be?-Varaan 13:54, 8 April 2008 (EDT)

Your edits to the 0408 version appear on the main page to me. Have you tried clearing cache? If still a problem, we'll move the template to the AOTM location and move it back to AOTM/0408 at the end of the month. I'd moved it as a test anyway, thinking the redirect at Template:AOTM would be all that got changed at the end of each month if it works. - Lt. Salak^Talk 14:07, 8 April 2008 (EDT)

I was planning to disable the feature, but you would like to volunteer and continue, by all means. My suggestion would be to scout various articles for potential nominations. You and I can discuss future candidates as Wiki Admins. DCody 18:50, 12 August 2009 (EDT)
