How I came to UFOP

I had been casually looking for a long-standing, persistent world RPG, but had never really considered PBeM before. During the pandemic, with a plethora of time on my hands I found UFOP and immediately fell in love with how detailed everything is.

HISTORY

  • Where were you first placed? What was it like starting to sim on your vessel? My first placement was on the USS Atlantis under Captain Jarred Thoran. It was very exciting to be a part of something so much bigger than any one of us.
  • What have been your greatest challenges in this group? Adapting to the flow of things, and first impressions.
  • What have been your greatest achievements in this group? Helping to bring the Mekra’fari to life is easily my greatest moment so far. But rising to Department Chief so quickly is up there as well
  • What do you hope to ultimately accomplish? To be the first Ferengi Admiral
  • Where do you see this group in five years? Ideally still thriving and finding new ways to innovate and remain exciting.
  • How do you think this group has contributed to Star Trek's legacy? How has the group contributed to the internet community? This group has done amazing things for the legacy of Star Trek, fleshing out existing canon and adding onto it in its own unique way. I haven't been involved for very long, but this community is definitely one of the nicest I've come across on the internet.
