Marlee Whale (maiden name Marlee Tan) appeared, in mysterious circumstances, aboard the USS Independence-A during a brief temporal displacement in early 2388. Her identity was unknown when she arrived, but was revealed when she awoke after a prolonged period in a coma. When she appeared she was wearing a uniform vaguely Starfleet in styling but one not seen in this particular universe; subsequent investigations revealed she was from an alternate universe.
