The Menthar Corridor is a region of space between the Cardassian Union, Breen Confederacy and Tholian Assembly and is previously unexplored by Federation ships. The USS Mercury is the first Federation ship to enter the Menthar Corridor, via special arrangement with the Cardassian Detapa Consul.
Locations within the Corridor
- Menthar Anchorage - an independant Ferengi trading station.
- Deep Space 10 - a delapidated hulk of ancient origin, adapted to serve the USS Mercury as a home base.
- JB-437 - An uninhabited, rocky star system three light years from Deep Space 10.
- Vega Sirenti - A habitable, uncolonized star system approximately fifty light years from Deep Space 10.
- 83 Leonis - A habitable star system containing an endangered pre-warp civilization.
- Nygel - A rocky, binary star system containing traces of ancient Iconian habitation.
