Robert has very little information about his true origins.  He spent many years with the belief that he human.  His on board equipment, namely a device called a sensor stealth unit, completed the illusion.  His adopted parents, who had discovered him and completed his programming, were aware of his true nature and had informed Starfleet at the time he applied to the Academy.  The decision was made to allow Robert to remain unaware and simply observe him for signs of a hidden agenda.

He was an active Ensign in the fleet when the Dominion War began.  During the war his ship, the [[USS Freedom-A|U.S.S. Freedom-A]], was boarded by the Jem'Hadar and the crew put off on a barren world.  While waiting for rescue from the [[USS Indria-A|U.S.S. Indria-A]], the crew came under attack.  Robert took a hit while defending a friend.  The damage exposed several of his android systems and knocked out his sensor stealth system.  Today, the only knowledge he has about his true self is that he was constructed some time in the 31st century, then sent back in time to the 24th.  He does not know what his purpose is, but will keep his eyes open.

Before and after his discovery, however, he was already creating the next generation of his family.  He designed a pair of AIs, a super computer dubbed Beta and a flying disk robot named Delta.  After the war, he was transferred to Starfleet R&D.  At that time, he was able to construct humanoid bodies for the two of them.  Delta underwent this transformation first, renaming herself Alice.  Beta renamed himself James.

Today, now Commander Robert Falcon runs a team at Starfleet R&D.  He keeps tabs every and any report he can get his hands on, curious if one will give him some idea of his reason for being.  "If nothing else, " he says, "I'll wait until my creators come around and ask them."

*'''Uncle'''

James started out life as a super computer based AI system.  He was Robert's first creation, and as such there were a couple... issues.  Even today he has a small glitch in his programming which gives him a short temper and the inability to carry a tune in a bucket.  Of all the members of the family James is the most combat capable.  He has enhanced versions of Robert's tactical systems paired with a heavier frame.  However, he is the only member of the Falcon family to choose against joining Starfleet.

Preferring to be his own boss, James chose the list of a freighter captain.  He acquired a Raven-class ship and modified it into a mid-size transport.  His ship, the Nova, has been optimized for operation by one person.  She has a pair of large cargo bays in the aft portion of the ship, and has five energy weapons on board.  Her weapons appear to be old model phase cannons, but have had their inner workings replaced.  James calls them WISC Phase Cannons, for "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing".  They have the strength of, at a minimum, type five phasers.

When conducting buisness he will go only by his first name.  Few know his last name, and those are only James's closest friends.  Anyone who knew the name could connect James to his father.  While James has no issues with what he is, he prefers not allowing others to know he is an android.  James feels that any information others have about him gives him less of an edge.  However, he is fierecely loyal to his family, and will stop at nothing to save them if they were in trouble.  Not being in Starfleet, he feels he has much more lattitude in his operation.  It is not known how far he would go to save his family.

*'''Mother'''

Alice had a more active 'childhood' then James.  Her early life was spent on Robert's ship.  However, due to Beta's misadventures and Robert's early near addiction to technology, she and Beta were removed from the ship and placed in storage on Starbase 118 under threat that if either were ever reactivated both would be dismanteled and destroyed. For more then a year, there was nothing Robert could do.  However, as he gained friends and connections around the fleet, his options increased.  Beta had to remain on the base, but he was able to smuggle Delta onto a ship commanded by a friend of his.  While there, Delta could be active and serve as an assistant to captain and crew.

When Robert was transferred to R&D, he was able to bring both Delta and Beta with him.  By then, he had designed and built a shuttle for a new design competition.  While the shuttle lost, he was told to retain the prototype.  Friends back at HQ meant the shuttle became, essentially, a personal ship.  Modifications allowed him to smuggle both of his creations to Earth, where he could build new bodies for them and attempt repairs fo Beta's programming.  Alice, as she renamed herself, worked with Robert at R&D for a short time before deciding to join Starfleet herself.  While at the Academy, she developed the same urge to create that led Robert to build herself and her brother.  She created Rho, and did what she could to ensure Rho's early years went better then her own.  Alice spent a brief time in the fleet before tranferring back to Starfleet R&D.

These days, Alice works on her father's R&D team.  She's well aware of his searches and she helps where she can.  She also keeps tabs with her brother and daughter, making sure the scattered members of the family are all well aware of what's happening.

Rho was created December 1st, 2376.  Like Alice, she started life as a disk shaped, flight capable robot.  She spent a couple years on Earth, spending most of her time with Robert and his R&D team while Alice finished her last couple years at the Academy.  When Alice headed off into the fleet, Rho found herself wanting to leave Earth as well.  The ship Alice had been on was still active, with the same CO.  Jiana Kennedy, another member of Robert's R&D, was transferring out there, so Rho joined her.  Rho spent a year among the crew, filling the same role as Alice had.  Near the end of her stay, the ship responded to a distress call.  It turned into a trap, and the ship was boarded.  Rho managed to elude detection and helped the crew escape from the brig and retake the ship.  On their way out, the invaders uploaded a virus into the main computer.  Rho downloaded herself into the computer and went after it.  She succeeded in defeating the virus, but caused a power overload that destroyed her disk.

Alice, now back at R&D, got assistance from Robert and built a humanoid body for Rho.  They brought her back to Earth.  Her early experiences with her humanoid body, she would say later, let her know everything she'd been missing out on.  True she could no longer fly, but walking was actually a lot of fun.  Unlike her mother and uncle, Rho decided to keep her 'original' name.  James wanted to be able to blend in, and Alice did not want a constant reminder of a time when she was afraid to simply be free.  Rho simply took on the Falcon surname, with the middle name Kennedy.  Jiana had been instrumental in Rho's survival after the loss of her disk, and she felt carrying a part of her name would show her appreciation.  After spending some time back on Earth, she decided she wanted to follow her mother and grandfather and join Starfleet herself.  She made it through the Academy learning as much as she could and was assigned to the Starbase 118 fleet.

Her final training was on Starbase 118 itself.  Most of the training scenario went along normally.  At its end, however, what had been a simulated rescue mission turned into a real life invasion from the mirror universe.  This, however, turned out to be a test for Rho from the Q Continuum.  No one else remembers what she experienced.  She is uncertain if that may have something to do with Robert's destiny or not, but she has kept the others informed.

She served for a brief stint on the U.S.S. Constitution-B.  She'd barely managed to unpack before she was transferred to Starbase 118.

Over time, Rho settled in to her new position.  Life became more interesting as time went on, with Rho finding new challenges in taking care of an entire station.  She made more friends among the crew and civilians living on the station.

More recently she has been exploring the possibilities of a deeper relationship with another member of the crew, though Rho is still not fully certain to where it might lead.

===OOC Note===

The characters of the Falcon family were previously of a custom android race. They have been changed to humans, with their overall plotline mostly the same but modified accordingly, to be more in line with how the UFOP group has evolved over the yearsContact Kaitlyn's writer if you have any questions.
Has yet to have a real working area.  This will be updated as information comes.

==Technological Capabilities==

Rho has the capability of carrying a number of pieces of equipment, with a couple other pieces of equipment built in.

Along with her android physical capabilities and on-board sensors, she has a sensor stealthing system which allows her to appear as a human in most all sensor scans. She also has an armor system built into the layers of her skin. While always in a semi-active state, it can be concentrated in the upper layers of her skin. This gives her excellent defense, but also gives her skin a gray sheen. Rho is also the first in her family to have tool storage space in her left arm. Generally she'll carry engineering equipment, but could easily switch those tools out for science or medical equipment. Each 'kit' is comperable to the Starfleet field kit of its type.

Like the others in her family, she has storage space for a couple other pieces of equipment. In her right forearm she can carry a small weapon called a pulse phaser. In her left flank is an access port where a small shield generator can be installed. While it is ineffective in combat, this shield can allow Rho to get through most standard force fields. However, Robert and Alice taught her to use her head. Equipment can fail, even family tech, but her mind is a powerful tool that is difficult to defeat. Under most circumstances, she does not carry the phaser or shield generator. Her usual preference it to use standard Starfleet technology.

She is capable of wireless connection to all known computer systems, along with a direct physical connection through Borg inspired data conduits built into her left hand.  She also has a Borg inspired auto-repair system based on Borg nanoprobes.  They are incapable of assimilation, but are very effective against small level repairs to Rho's systems.  For example, they cannot rebuild a severed arm, but they can repair the connections needed to attach a new one.

With strengths come weaknesses. To run her enhanced equipment, Rho requires an on board reactor. She ingests food to survive like an organic being. If she runs on only her physical capabilities and sensors, her power cells can provide enough power. With all systems at full, she can go for only a couple days without intake. She is also vulnerable to some forms of electromagnetic radiation. If one is encountered, she'll automatically shut down to protect herself.

Theoretical capabilities of her technology are not included at this timeThis information is guarded, and it not noted in Rho's official Starfleet records.  It is only known by Rho, her family, and a select few family friends.

Personality

Rho tends to be calm, open, honest, and trusting to a fault. Some would claim she hasn't gained enough experience to be cynical, but she feels she'd rather remain her normal friendly self then suspect everyone around her all the time. When on duty she leans a bit more towards being professional and keeping her mind on the job at hand, but she is still friendly to those around her. Off duty, she is approachable to give assistance or just to talk. She gives some of her trust easily, but it can take some time to gain her absolute trust. However, once one has her absolute trust it is very difficult to loose it. If it is lost, it is very difficult to regain. If she is certain she is right, she will stand to her opinion. However, if shown evidence to the contrary she will admit she is wrong.

Ambitions and Goals

Thus far, Rho has managed to meet the goals she's set for herself. At this point, her main goal is to continue a successful Starfleet career and be of use to those around her.

Personal Achievements and Disappointments

Rho tries to not be a prideful individual. She may use her full range of abilities, but tries to pass it off as her just doing her job rather then boast. In the end, she feels she's had a good day if she makes it through with herself and her colleages intact and ready to face the next challange. She tends to take a lot onto herself, feeling that as she has these capabilities she should be able to protect those around her. When people near her are injured she often blames herself, even when it's noted there was nothing she could do otherwise.

She does feel proud at how well she has done so far. Her early years, the sacrifice of her disk, joining Starfleet on her own merits, and not getting killed on her first mission. Maybe not a real achievement, but it works for her.
