Fineas Aaron Romero, or Finn to his friends and family, is a Human male from the Martian Colonies, specifically the Utopia Colony. His father, Richard Romero, was a prominent engineer in the colonies and worked on many starships at the Utopia Planitia Shipyards. His father was his inspiration for becoming an engineer, however Finn's love for space led him to Starfleet. He currently serves aboard the USS Tiger-A (NCC-52199-A).

Personal History

Finn comes from a rich Mexican heritage. Both his paternal grandparents were Mexicans. When his grandfather Don Romero, who was also an engineer, was afforded the opportunity to work as a senior advisor to Utopia Planitia's management board he moved his wife and all of their possessions from Monterrey, Mexico to the Utopia Colony. There they lived out there lives as some of the first Martian Colonists.

Not too long later Finn's father, Richard, was born. He too lived out his life on Mars and often helped his father work at Utopia Planitia. After he graduated, Richard became one of the head engineers at Planitia and even helped design the Erewon class starship. When he was about 22, Richard fell in love with Kelly Roebuck. Kelly's great, great grandmother had been the first school teacher at the Martian Colonies and Kelly was following in her footsteps as an elementary teacher at Utopia Elementary. The two met when a school came to tour the shipyards. They married three years later and one year after that Finn was born.

Finn, like his father, grew up at the Planitia shipyards and, like his father, he aspired to become an engineer. He began apprenticing with his father and graduated from Mars University with degrees in Subspace Mechanics, Warp Drive Mechanics, and Theoretical & Applied Physics. His father urged him to join Utopia Planitia, however Finn had more exciting plans. He wanted to be a Starfleet Engineer.

His hunger for adventure and excitement drove him to Starfleet Academy, where he excelled in his engineering and science fields. He graduated with flying colors and was soon dispatched to Starbase 118. After he completed his fleet training he was assigned to the Prometheus class starship Tiger-A." He lives his dream and strives for excellence in the eyes of his superiors as he boldly goes where no one has gone before.
