((Sickbay, USS Resolution))
::Sickbay was quiet, as most of the excitement of the past few days had dissipated and things were starting to get back to normal. Despite the fact that such little time had passed, so much had happened, and all of it unbeknownst to the sleeping marine. With stable vitals, and a newly functioning heart, plans were made to bring her back to the land of the living. Lost in her own nightmares, however, Kali had no idea.::
((In Kali's Mind))
::In her mind, the rain was still falling, soaking her to the bone. She did notice, however, that the chills that had been plaguing her were lessening, and she felt warmer. The rain itself carried light, and she could see the canyon in front of her filling with calm. Somehow, she knew that she would be leaving this place soon.::
::As the rain washed over her, she felt renewed. Lifting her face to the sky, she saw the first real light since she had been injured. It slowly spread over her dreamscape, chasing away the last remnants of the nightmares that had pursued her for the countless hours gone by. Getting her bearings, she stood and took in the landscape.::
::Everything around her was barren, save the gorge below her. The water rested, undisturbed by the elements around it. Even the raindrops did not leave their mark on the glassy surface of the water. Looking out over the grey and dusty land around her, she decided that it was time to move.::
::Kali set off in the direction that she thought looked good, basking in the warmth of what seemed like a sun. The dust from the ground rose in small puffs as her boots hit the ground. Able to look at herself for the first time since she arrived, Kali took stock of her condition. Though dirty, and still wet, she seemed to be ok.::
::The light rose into the sky, and Kali continued to walk along. The landscape sloped slightly towards the sky as she followed the canyon, the latter falling away from her as she walked up the rise. There were no sounds, no wind, nothing. Kali sighed as she walked along. She was tired of existing alone in the barren world that she was in now.::
::The light hovered in the general vicinity of the sky, and Kali grew tired. Falling to the ground, she decided to take a nap before she continued. As she closed her eyes, she left the barren sights behind and thought only about her friends, and when she would be able to see them again.::
oO Hopefully soon. Oo
