Name: Derren “Dex” Solari Gender: Male Race: Betazoid/Human (No telepathic/empathic ability) Age: 28 Birthdate: Stardate 235711.11 Hair Colour: Brown Eye Colour: Blue Height: 5 foot 11 inches
Short Biography
Dex progressed at a very slow rate through the Academy, participating in everything that he could and excelling at everything academically, but there’s not much room in medicine for someone who’s incredibly squeamish.
He passed out during his procedurals and fainted in his finals. He confused Bolian physiology with Bajoran psychology and got himself into more than a bit of a pickle. It has been expressed that this Nurse should never have found his feet in a Doctor’s position but it was taken into consideration that he served on the frontline during the Gorn War.
Which didn’t help either. At least he fainted under pressure before, now he actually tries to help in a situation. Dex isn’t the brightest of sparks or the most confident. After much counselling on his squeamishness, he was able to blag his way through a routine humanoid spleen separation and kidney stone vaporisation. Fully qualified, he is as nervous as a newly qualified Doctor could be.
Don’t ask him to pass the urine sample.
